The Hurva Synagogue has long been one of the most impressive buildings (and for many years ruins) in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. Restoration work has recently been completed and the Hurva is once again one of the most impressive buildings in the Old City. For more details of the Hurva and how to book a tour see Hurva Synagogue.
The views within the Hurva are impressive – this is a very tall synagogue. It is also possible to visit the outside of the dome and the Hurva commands some fine views of Old City of Jerusalem and the mountains and desert around.
