Nahal Og in Spring

Nahal Og is a wadi that winds down from the Jerusalem Hills towards the Dead Sea.

The main road down to Jericho and the Dead Sea runs along Nahal Og – offering some stunning views. Other sections of Nahal Og are accessible by rambling and require the use of some fixed ladders to negotiate water falls.

In the winter/early-Spring of 2012 the extensive rain caused Nahal Og to acquire an unusual green coat and for some pale purple flowers to bloom over the mountainside.
