Council for a Beautiful Israel – Best Hotel 2011



The Council for a Beautiful Israel has released the competition results for the best hotel in Beautiful Israel 2011. The Council for a Beautiful Israel in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Israel Hotel Association runs an annual competition to increase awareness of environmental care and aesthetics in Israeli hotels. The competition is open to all licenced hotels.

 

Achuzat Asinda Maalot won the beauty contest for hotels of up to 150 rooms. In this category the runner up was the Ruth Rimonim in Safed.



 

In the medium category hotels the winner was the Dead Sea Lot Hotel, with Hagoshrim Hotel the category runner up.

 



In the large hotel category (over 250 rooms) the winner was the Isrotel Hotel Dead Sea. Runners up in this category were Isrotel Royal Beach, Isrotel Agamim, Dan Eilat, Meridien Dead Sea and Eilat Royal Garden.

Hotels that belong to hotel chains and were commended include the Ginosar Guest House (Kibbutz Hotels), Rimonim in Tzfat (Rimonim), Caesar Hotel Eilat, Royal Garden Hotel Eilat (Isrotel), Prima Music Eilat, Herods Eilat (Fattal), Dan Eilat (Dan), Crowne Plaza City Hotel.

 



David Intercontinental Hotel received an award in recognition of contribution to the community.
