Here are directions to get to A Quiet Corner of Motza

Driving from Ben-Gurion Airport to A Quiet Corner of Motza

  • Follow the signs in the airport leading to Highway 1, in the direction of Jerusalem.
  • Keep on Highway 1 for about 35 km until you see road signs indicating the turning to Harel Junction (Mevasaret Zion, Motza Ilit, Castel).
  • About 75 meters after the turn, at the traffic lights, turn right.
  • About 200 meters on, at the next traffic lights, turn left. There is road sign indicating the turning to Motza Ilit.
  • You are on a road called “Seven Sisters”, which twists and turns down to Motza.
  • Ignore all left turns, even though they have signs indicating Motza Ilit.
  • Take the second right, almost at the end of the road (it hooks back into Highway 1). That is our street – Haarazim St. You will see a basketball court on your left. Keep going straight until you come to the beginning of the street.
  • Our house is the second on the street (Number 4), and it has a green fence and gate. Turn and park. Walk down the stairs. We will be waiting for you.

 

Driving from Jerusalem to A Quiet Corner of Motza

  • Exit Jerusalem on Highway 1, in the direction of Tel Aviv.
  • Keep on Highway 1 for about 5 km until you see road signs indicating the turning to Harel Junction (Mevasaret Zion, Motza Ilit, Castel). Don’t turn at the Motza junciton which is a few kilometers before Harel.
  • Exit the highway and turn left at the top of the ramp. Cross the bridge over the highway.
  • At the second set of traffic lights, turn left. There is road sign indicating the turning to Motza Ilit.
  • You are on a road called “Seven Sisters”, which twists and turns down to Motza.
  • Ignore all left turns, even though they have signs indicating Motza Ilit.
